Born and raised in Southern California, I have always been familiar with competitive housing markets. My family invested in real estate and rental properties, and I grew up understanding how to successfully care for homes, manage multiple properties, and identify market trends for buying and selling at an early age.
My work ethic, drive, and competitive nature took me to Indiana after graduating high school, where I was recruited to play NCAA Division I collegiate volleyball. I utilized these same skills, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills to begin my real estate career in 2005. I maintained high occupancy rates and provided the greatest return on investment for my employer while acting as a property manager of multiple residential properties in Indianapolis.
My sights shifted to the Florida market in 2008. During this year, my husband and I moved to Vero Beach, Fl., purchased our first home, and I began my career in education. My role as a high school science teacher and volleyball coach allowed me to further develop skills to look objectively at every problem, research to find the best solution, and implement strategies to achieve a successful outcome. I incorporated this into our own lives as we developed our real estate portfolio, owning multiple homes in various Florida markets and maintaining long term rentals.
After living in Central Florida for several years, we craved a more tropical paradise. We found it in the balmy climate, colorful architecture, and aqua waters of Key West. I became the Athletic Director at Key West High School and developed strong community ties while managing and developing the school athletic programs. In this role, I began to recognize a common theme throughout the community: many people needed assistance with home purchases and listings in the competitive Key West market. I took the skills that I had previously developed as well as my local connections and put them to work to serve my community.
I have helped numerous buyers and sellers to successfully invest and capitalize on their investments in the Florida Keys. I achieved the accolade of the 2023 Coldwell Banker Schmitt Rising Star Award and established the first Key West real estate course for high school students. I believe in giving back and developing strong communities where people love to live. I work diligently for my clients and problem-solve to create the smoothest transactions all while maintaining the highest level of integrity. I have the experience needed to help you successfully maneuver the Florida Keys market and am ready to work for you.
For all your real estate needs, I am THE realtor for you.
